Deacon Baldy’s was named after the late Deacon Mike Mims who passed in 2014, and was the father of our owner Kevin. He had a huge love of sharing life with others. He loved hosting family and friends and when we built Deacon Baldy’s we did our best to recreate the many nights spent on his back patio. Not a day goes by that we don’t wish we could have one more Juice, one more cigar, or one more story with him. But the joys and love we received from his life will always outweight the loss. We hope that you will discover some of that joy and love here at Deacon Baldy’s. But mostly we hope that what we do here honors his legacy, and makes him proud.
